Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard steps out with his second solo album, Strong, which shows his continued growth as a songwriter and performer.

With over 1 billion streams and two consecutive No. 1 singles under his belt, Tylar Hubbard’s musical journey continues to ascend to new heights. And with his second solo album, Strong, he’s poised to captivate audiences once again.

Strong, made up of 13 dynamic tracks, including standout singles “Back Then Right Now,” “Turn,” and “Wish You Would,” represents a departure from Hubbard’s debut solo effort. Reflecting on the album’s creation, Hubbard shares insights into its unique genesis. “In contrast to my first solo album, Strong was reverse-engineered, designed to resonate with live performances. Interacting with fans during shows gave me invaluable insight into their preferences and energy, which heavily influenced the songwriting and selection process for this project.”

Hailing from Georgia, Hubbard assumes dual roles as co-producer alongside Jordan Schmidt and primary songwriter, contributing to all 13 compositions. Notably, “Vegas” emerges as a spirited ode to love at first sight, crafted with the live experience in mind, embodying vulnerability and passion in equal measure.

“Touring extensively last year profoundly shaped the album,” Hubbard remarks. “Many of the songs were penned on the road, surrounded by fellow writers and fueled by the electric atmosphere of live performances. Observing audience reactions and fine-tuning setlists provided invaluable inspiration, allowing us to craft an album that authentically reflects the emotional tapestry of our live shows.”

Strong not only showcases Hubbard’s prowess as a songwriter but also underscores his distinct musical identity, blending diverse influences seamlessly. With chart-topping hits like “5 Foot 9” and “Dancin’ In The Country” already solidifying his solo career, Hubbard’s latest offering promises to reinforce his status as a multifaceted artist.
